TestExecute Log Files Missing Message
I am creating a zip file from TestComplete in order to use with TestXecute. When creating the zip file i EXCLUDE the log files that were created during TestComplete execution.
When i start TestExecute it makes me click OK to continue because it expects to see the log files that created with TestComplete. What else do i need to do so that TestExecute thinks that there are no log files?
It confuses some the users when they see this and they think that something is missing in the extracted zip file that is used for TestExecute.
Re: TestExecute Log Files Missing Message
In this case, there are two possible solutions:
- Delete logs from the project before zipping it (you can do this with the project's copy instead of deleting logs from the original project).
- Run TE in silent mode (with the /SilentMode command-line parameter) - this will prevent it from showing the dialog. It will just remove references to the missing logs from the project.
