I notice that the property 'wtext' of an object no longer exists in the TC6 when converting the existing scripts to TC6. I can easily remove this property from the object when comparing the object with empty 'wtext'.
Can someone tell me which property I can replace the 'wtext' to capture its corresponding data when comparing the object by using Objects.Compare?
ie. eNameField.wText := 'abcdded'
Thanks! it is working perfectly after adding my oject into the 'Edit box' object mapping group.
But then, I have a new problem with another object's property 'HScroll.pos' ie. 'window has no scroll bar', failed to set the scroll bar position.
So, I added this object into the 'ListView' object mapping group. unfortunately, it still fails to set the scroll bar position. I also searched the Help to find out if there was another object mapping group containing HScroll.pos. any help?
The availability of scroll bars doesn't depend on the Object Mapping group where your control is added. It depends on the control. I suggest that you consult your developers regarding whether the target control's scroll bars work (that is, react to Windows messages) in the standard way. Otherwise, TC may be unable to access them via standard properties (but you still can use native properties and methods if your application is Open).
