I have a strange behaviour with my tested application and TestExecute.
For unknow reason, my application sometimes 'crashes'; I mean the process associated is killed[...]. Because of this dirty situation, TestExecute is 'blocked'. See my attached screenshot.
When such situation appears, I would like to :
1/ [Stop] Test Execute
2/ Then restart Test Execute with the project which failed.
Is there any easy way to handle this ? Maybe with [GeneralEvents] ?
Re: Test Execute > How restart test when error occurs
I'm not sure about the restart of TestExecute. However, it looks like this is the error dialogue that TestExecute opens up when an error is encountered. You might want to try running your project with the command line parameter /silentmode. This will suppress this dialogue while still logging the error to the test log. You can then use the OnLogError event handler to handle this particular situation or put some try/catch logic around this code section to detect this problem before it stops your script execution.
