Once I record the script in Test Complete, can I use that script in any computer with different screen resolution.
Also, in the following script : Sys["Process"]("ReSOLVE")["Window"]("#32770", "Dig Sheet")["Window"]("Static", "", 1) I see every where #32770 same number whenever new window invoked. Pls reply if any body know about these problem
1) Does screen resolution affect script playback? The answer: it depends. If you are doing region/image comparisons then it might as different screen resolutions may affect pixel resolution. If you're doing click commands that depend upon co-ordinates, maybe. co-ordinates are in pixels from the top left corner of the object so, as long as the object has not changed size due to resolution, they should work.
2) What is the "#32770" window designation? The #32770 object is the class for the type of window that is being opened. Any window that comes from the OS, I believe, has this class. If you take a look at the window generated by Start | Run, it has the same class. This is not a problem, just a window class designation due to the application. Is this actually causing a problem for you in the scripts? If so, what problem?
