Hello, I am new to TestComplete and still learning scripting and was wondering about zip files in TestComplete.
My program saves a group of files in a zip file. So my question is how do I tell my TestComplete script to find the zipped file and unzip it for later file comparisons? I understand the comparison functions but I am stuck on getting testcomplete to unzip the file. I am writing in c++ script. Thank you for your time.
I can't write anything for you in C++ but we're using WinZip for certain things. You can download a commandline plug-in for Winzip and install it. When you do that, you can then use then execute anything from a command line to unzip your data. We use an instance of the WScript.Shell object to execute a command line to unzip our data. So, for example, we could do something like this (code is in delphiscript)
