I have an environment in which my team has a number of java tests, a few python tests, and few tcl tests, etc. I'm looking for a good way to automate the launching of those tests, and gathering and reporting the results. The tests are all on linux systems.

I'm looking for a management tool that I can use to schedule the launching of the tests, and have this harness successfully negotiate from suite to suite without any manual intervention.

We've been trying to build something ourselves but are getting bogged down. Any recommendations?

We have Rational Functional Tester, which comes with a subproduct called "TestManager". Starting to look into it now, does anyone have any opinions on "TestManager"?
