Anyone used Expect on windows? I used to use it on unix a long time ago as it was the only shell with the "expect" part which enabled automation of ftp and router configuration. Thought I'd see if the windows version is as good as the unix. I'll try it out here sometime because it would be great for some of the powershell automation I'm using.
While searching for info, I found autoIT on the wiki. (http://www.autoitscript.com/) Anyone used this for automation? From a quick look it seems like a nice tool, and FREE and OPEN SOURCE (or the source is available, didn't see if it was GPL or whatever)

I have used AutoIT for test automation, and know of many other s who also do. It is powerful, easy to script, and is pretty good for certain types of testing, despite not really being intended for this type of work. AutoIt also has a well-capable user community that can be useful as a resource. I can elaborate if you have specific questions.
