Free/open source tools for VoIP/SIP feature tests?
Just wondering if any of you have worked with any free or open source automation/test tools for VoIP/SIP (SIP primarily) PBX feature testing. I'm talking about using tools to test PBX system features with the tool acting as a SIP user agent acting in place of a softphone or SIP hardware-based phone.
I know there are some open source tools for SIP traffic generation and other stuff but that's not what I'm looking for.
I suppose PJSIP/PJSUA and SIPp might satisfy our needs to some extend but they seem developer oriented. Would be nice if someone had put together a "Dummies" guide to configuring and using those tools for basic feature and load testing. Might be nice if someone had them compiled as well, as last time I checked, PJSIP was available in source form only.
