Regarding Java Script
I have two queries -
1. How helpful it is for an automation engineer to know java script? (I know One can do great if one knows java script in tools like Bad Boy but I am looking for General answer.)
2. Is it useful for manual testers as well? If yes then How?
Thanks in advance.
Re: Regarding Java Script
It's helful for me There are a lot of things that you can do using java-script in testing automation (even without using some Automation tools) - almost everything except interaction with GUI. I use it for work with Excel, text files, data bases (ActiveX support is a great thing).
BTW, TestComplete, for example, has java-script as a programming language (and I reuse much code here written before TestComplete).
