In the company that hired me, they use Microsoft Sharepoint as a tool for storing documents and logging defects.
They are now looking for an automated test tool, and preferably a test tool that can make a connection with Sharepoint for automatically logging defects that result from the automated test.
Does anyone know if such a tool exists?

Yury, can you explain more? Because Excel and InfoPath are of course no automated test tools. So I'm a bit puzzled now.
[/ QUOTE ]I doubt very much that there is a tool out there with a built in Sharepoint interface.
I know that EXCEL and InfoPath can interface with SharePoint. I believe that MS Access also should have this Interface.
Probably itís possible to use these MS applications as an intermediary between your test tool and a SharePoint portal.
What about this idea:
Your tool -> COM Interface -> EXCEL -> SharePoint
Yeah, that's what I thought he meant. I'm really only quite familiar with QTP but I know that with QTP you can interface with Excel easily and store it where you want. I'm pretty sure you can access Sharepoint with the right code.
I'm certain that sharepoint isn't your only consideration. Once you've narrowed the field, try checking out the forums related to the tools you are considering and search for info on sharepoint.
