I had a TE project I was doing and the message area on each screen was very dynamic in what it could display. There were around 4900 messages in the system. I didnt code them all but they could at times be pretty random.
You can automate random stuff but it needs somebody who knows what they are doing.
Well I have articles posted/edited/updated every second and the way this application is designed is everything is in a different place and ALWAYS REQUIRES a content# that can be added in different areas of the application. So I'm a little confused because thsi CMS tool is 1. not consistent and 2. can't really be verified on the public side because that particular content gets changed every second. Furthermore, on all the environments, developers and the qa team have this override option that one has to grab or ask for before working with the content
With that said, the way I test this is actually manually. For example, submit/edit/delete/publish articles manually then verify it on the public side to make sure that article is showing in the correct frame.
