It is more generalized, but there is no doubt what she is aiming for. It's worth it just to hear her.
I see you are in Chicago, she will be delivering the same presentation at the PSQT conference in Minneapolis on the 13th of Sept.
I attended the class back in 2001. Pretty good, Linda is a great speaker and knows her stuff. My only issue is that she only scraped the surface on some things in relation to the framework. I expected more details of inner workings, but then she would be giving away the whole tamale' as they say.
I would say it is worth it. But I would make sure that I hit the other talks, especially the ones by Harry Robinson about Model Based testing. A good primer to read before Linda's class is the whitepaper by Carl Nagle on Automation Frameworks (http://safsdev.sourceforge.net/FRAME...Frameworks.htm)
Have fun in Anaheim if you go, October in So. Cal. is nice.
