    Re: Anyone use Jameleon?

Jameleon is not a test tool its a framework. If you want to test web applications you will be using the jiffie addin.

Look into the limitations of this to see if it suits your needs.

    Re: Anyone use Jameleon?

A whole lot can be done without the jiffe plugin. I too was a bit disappointed with the use of a commercial tool for the automation of IE, but a whole lot has been done from various operating systems.

You might want to look into the jameleon forums at Sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=288109 for more detailed information.

    Thanks, Wholly.

    I start reading the forum.
Jameleon can test both http level test and DOM level test. But I don't know how to test ajax application.

    Re: Anyone use Jameleon?

If you want to test a web application with Jameleon then you will very likely use Jiffe.

Not sure what you mean when you say how to test ajax application? Same way you would test any application. Jiffe can get a handle on the dynamic HTML created. Where you will struggle is pop-boxs/ modaldialogboxes

Try asking the development team, they may have already considered how to do things like that. They're pretty bright (sometimes).
