I am looking for a tool which will help me to test web based applications (html, Java, CSS, PHP, Flash and RSS feeds). I would like to be able to pick my own list of URLs and exclude URL that I am not interested in. This tool will run all the time and will notify a designated people via email of any P0 (404) bugs.
I currently use Xenu (free web tool) and it helps, however, it spiders everything including 3rd party content and I spent too much time verifying each and every URL. Email notification function is not available.
Iíve been looking to purchase a Mercury SiteScope but it is not with in my budget. What would you recommend?
thanks in advance,

Re: website validator
You may download Microsoft Dev Toolbar or use a-prompt which is a free tool for validation.
For Mozilla firfox too, developer toolbar is available.
Best of Luck!
