I catch this term while reading some articles about test automation, but the various explanation makes me confused.
What does "testware" mean? Is it a mixture of testplan, testcase, testenv and test suites?
any one help?
All of the above plus drivers, harnesses, stubs, other custom code, etc. Generally speaking, testware consists of all assets required to conduct testing.
Testware is a term used to describe all of the materials used to perform a test. Testware includes test plans, test cases, test scripts, and any other items needed to design and perform a test.
With Best Regards
Testware could also include the actual machines, browsers, OS's, and maybe even the networks on which the application is tested. These are all test assets.
Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
