How good are these guys? Will appreciate your feedback?
I'm looking at undergoing a Winrunner training program in Delhi, India (at QualTech, Naraina). I have no automated testing knowledge and as a first step to jumpstart was looking at this training. Has anyone attended any of these training program. Can you please advise how helpful are they?

Well, since your in New Delhi at least you're not wasting your money on a huge trip...as far as the training class goes though I would make sure they are certified instructors with a partnership with Mercury. Also, it is important to set your expectations before you get there. These classes, no matter who offers them are meant as introductory classes, meaning that you are not going to walk out of there knowing everything there is to know about WinRunner - and the Advanced class is just an Advanced Intro class so keep that in mind. I sually tell my students that I am maybe going to show them 2-3% of what WinRunner can do - but it the important 2-3% that will lay the foundation for you to continue learning about automating with WinRunner. Automation itself is a concept to itself which you will have to grasp and will best get that through experience. I do suggest though that you do not take these classes with the idea that you are gonna put WinRunner on your resume and go find a job as you will make yourself look bad if you actually get it and are thrown into it with the expectation that you know what to do right away. You won't be helping anyone. Be honest about your experience.
