Automated Testing tool for XML-Files on Sun Solaris
We are using “Staffware Process Suite”, a tool for Business Process Modelling (BPM), to automate processes of companies, e.g. car sellers.
Staffware runs on a Sun Solaris server. When a process runs, Staffware generates after each process step a XML-file with all data belonging to this step.
To improve out testing we would like to automate it.
Therefore my question:
Do you know any tool which can cope with XML-files on Sun Solaris and is capable for doing automated testing?
If possible (but not necessary) it would be great if we can use the tool from a windows machine.
Thanks a lot,
P.S.: Sorry for the post below
Re: Automated Testing tool for XML-Files on Sun Solaris
What sort of automated testing are you looking to do? I'm not familair with Staffware so can't recommend a tool to automate it (if that is what you intend).
If you are looking to automte the checking of the generated XML files against a baseline version you might want to look at XMLUnit (http://xmlunit.sourceforge.net/). It's a Java based API so should run on Solaris.
