<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">The answer here would depend on so many factors, for example what type of automated scripts were developed, i.e. data driven scripts and/or do the scripts contain sql querys and calls to the database; has the database structure changed; schema changes, etc? So many more details are needed before a somewhat intelligent answer can be given.

    Re: Change in Database

Without actually looking at your scripts and application, there's no way anyone here can answer your question.

    Re: Change in Database

I'd ask what you understand by changing the database ? Change the structure of database ? In this case I'd say that some sort of specifications should exist for that.
There should be a mapping between old and new database elements.
It was an upgrade of change of database from, let's say "ORACLE" to "SQL Server",... ?
    Don't worry, be Happy!

Why even ask the question? Run your scripts and find out!

    Re: Change in Database

    Hi

Thanks for all. Before I run the scripts I want to make sure whether I need to make change in the script. As for as my understand ,the script nowhere calls the database .So it should work fine even when they upgrade the database from one to another,I will let u all know whats going on after I run the script.
