I just would like to know what you think about the GUI Map from WinRunner. I found it really not easy to use.
In fact, my application window is recognized as MainWin (with menu, button,...) and the smaller window as ProFrame. That means that all the objects of all the windows of my applications are just put together.
I prefer SilkTest'one which is really object-oriented and not object-like.
What do you think about that? Is there a way to sort my GUI Map by ProFrame?
Re: About mapping...
I think, you have used silktest already. In winrunner, You can't find more iterations/levels on the object. It will put all objects together with main window. If you want, you can make another window entry and give your child window objects.
In silktest, you have to give window, childwindow(if avail), object at every time. But for winrunner, if you give window once, then it have to give the object only, not necessary to give window.
Each tools have their own merits and de-merits.
