Which tool are you using to test the Delphi app.
and what type of testing you are doing
is it Functional?
is it Loadtesing?
is it performance testing?
if you are doing the functional testing you can use the jscript to test the delphi apps.
We're using TestComplete to test applications written in Delphi. Does someone know if I can write my scripts in JScript instead of DelphiScript to test Delphi apps? Thanks!
I'm not sure about that, but do you have access to the app via COM? If so, you can use Perl or Ruby or some other scripting language to manipulate the application. cf: http://www.testing.com/writings/bypassing-the-gui.pdf
Beware of bugs in the above code; I have only proved it correct, not tried it.
We mostly do functional and regression testing. I prefer JScript because I know it, and I don't have time lo learn DelphScript.
As I understood, I can use JScript, which is fine. Thanks a lot for your advise!
