Test Director Design Steps and Managing Changes to UI
I am using Test Director & WinRunner for Managing/Creating-Execution of Tests for an Application.
Still, in the initial stages I have organised my Test Cases in the Test Plan Tree of TD. I am starting to write design steps for the execution of the Test Cases.
Some of the test cases are to validate the GUI components on a Screen. Considering this to be the initial stages of Dev/Test work and more prototyping tests to be done I am wondering how can I manage any changes to the User Interface in relevance to my Design steps created as most of them make references to the controls(presence/state/initial values etc.).
Also, Does Key-word driven testing eliminate the need to manage these changes at all without using TD.
I would appreciate if you have had experiences of this kind.
Thanks much for your time.
