I am trying to use ftp -s:filename option to automate the ftp process. The process works fine if there is a password but I am stuck when there is no password. Basically, the "filename" would look like this :-
In this case it will take 'pwd' as the password even though I have given a blank line after username -> xyz to point out that there is no username.
I appreciate any pointers ? Is there any other way to signify that there is no password.
Microsoft's website mentions "user" command in ftp but that is not working either.
