How about Empirix eTest suite and Cyrano?
After putting testprocedures and -scearios in place and having proper bug/change tracking, currently I'm selecting a tool for automated functiona (regression) testing and load/performance/stress testing.
I read a lot of comments on Astra here and some on Rational.
But how about eTest suite (Empirix / RSW)?
We had a demo of Cyrano's webtester last year, looked very good.
Now Empirx representatives tell me Webtester by Cyrano actually was eTester, but since Cyrano wanted to put its part of the suite OpenSource, Cyrano's webtester is discontinued. I do not get any responce from Cyrano.
Can anybody confirm this?
Does anybody have any experiance with eTest suite?

I 've been using E-Test suite from a while, and it all depends what kinds of results you are expecting. E-Tester is a very straight forward and easy tool. But you have to spoon feed a lot. On the other hand E-monitor and E-Loader are very good tools reliable tools.
