You get what you pay for?!
I've seen jtest! quite a few times and have worked with it a while back in '98. You are correct...it's a very good tool.
Unfortunately....it is very very expensive in Europe and therefore very difficult to make available to all developers within a company. As Java projects tend to occupy between 2 and 200 developers, it would only be fair to make a static analysis tool available to each an every one of them.
Came across a tool called QStudio JAVA during a web search. It's static analysis based on coding standards, checks individual classes and complete projects, and is sold on subscription base (1-3 years). Prices seem to range between $299 and $199 per user per license.
Worthwhile having a look at. Company is called QA Systems.
