Automated way to load up Chrome browser in certain configuration
Wonder if anyone had to do something like this before (some or all of it), and have any tips/advice on this
Launch Google Chrome browser under these conditions:
* startup Chrome in certain window size
* startup Chrome in certain location on desktop
* startup Chrome with specific set of tabbed windows to specific URLs
* do the above on Debian/Ubuntu Linux
Ideally it would be nice to script that without any GUI automation involvement, but I assume that might not be possible. I took a look at Google Chrome command line options on the Linux box I have, there doesn't seem to be options for the above.
For me (on Windows), something like this works:
