comparing content tiff with notepad
help me out...
i need to compare the content in tiff file with notepad content. either any automation tools available at free cost....
What does "compare the content in tiff file with notepad content" mean?
tiff is an image format, while notepad is text.
in tiff file some of the contents there . by seeing that tiff file we have to type those contents in notepad.finally we have to check whether the content is same as match in notepad... for one file means manual checking is enough .. but more than 200 files means...so only doubt
If understand you right, you want to compare the raw tiff content against a notepad reference file?
If this is what you want, any automation tool that supports reading from a text file and comparing strings will do what you're asking, as will any file comparison utility that supports command line invocation.
If what you want is more complex, then I'd need more information to help you.
If you want to compare texts in TIFF & Text file, then use OCR tools to retrieve the text from TIFF and then compare with notepad text
