automation tool comparison
Hi there. We are strongly considering replacing our test automation tool. I am looking for people who have opinions, good and bad, for any of the following:
- QA Wizard Pro
- HP QTP
- Application is written with VB6 with many web components. So both GUI, in VB^ and web need to be supported.
- We do NOT want record and playback, no code needed, functionality at the expense of being able to develop a framework of reusable components to speed development and aid in maintainability.
- DDT support or something similar that allows us to test like things with a layer of abstraction to handle differences is required.
- Decent tech support / customer service is a must.
Does anyone have opinions that they are willing to share?
basically, HP QTP is better for your reqirements. it is based on VBS to develop automation scripts, and you can extend his functionality with any of program languages.
