    Scripting Language?

    Hi folks,

I've been working in silicon valley as a software QA engineer since last 6 years.
I've some experience in test automation using Perl scripting.

Currently I work as a full time QA engineer. However, in next few months, I'll have to start working part time to take care of some other stuff. I want to upgrade my automation skills to get a good part time job. I would like to know in which scripting language should I enhance my skills to increase job prospects? Is it Perl, Python, Java or something else?

    Thanks in advance,
    ~lasya

Any of those will enhance your skills, and increase job prospects.

In my shop, the choice would be Python.

I highly recommend looking at either Python or Ruby.
