So I get this email from SQE Training offering me an opportunity for "Live, virtual training" on Mastering Test Automation and I read onward about who is doing the training. What caught my eye was "Linda Hayes helped pioneer structured software test automation".
I've been out of automation testing for awhile and I haven't kept up with who is doing what and what are the hot topics but I am questioning this woman being a pioneer as her picture shows her looking very young. Anyone know her name?
If anyone is interested in the training as I'm sure the training is excellent, you can find details:
Yes, Linda is a regular on here too. She supposedly worked on the first, main-frame automation tool. She then founded WorkSoft, which is currently doing Certify. One of the top contenders for the ITA award this year. She's been around a fairly long time, and she's got a lot of experience. Check her out. She's been on the intsructional tours with SQE for several years now. The only problem with that virtual training is the price. My goodness, I recieved the same email and almost passed out when I saw the sign-up cost for two days. Scary! If I could afford $600 I could have a very nice Christmas this year!
