In my testing I need to start up several copies of an application on a remote client system. I am using psexec to start them and I can see that they log into the server, but after a few minutes they disconnect, because they can not access the display on the remote system. Is there anyway to redirect the output (for a gui app) on a windows box? I know on unix there is a way to do a set env display and some other commands to do this but don't know how to do this on windows.
Do you mean you want the application to run on a remote system, but display on the local system? Windows is not able to do that the same way X11 is. You need some type of remote desktop application like the built-in Remote Desktop, VNC, or Citrix.
