How is XML testing done ? I see a lot of job descriptions for XML testing. I studied xml long back, but how are the data stored tested. Is there any tool ?
Don't work harder, work smarter.
Check this site to start with: http://www.w3schools.com/xml/default.asp
Generally XML is stored in files (.xml) and there are plenty of XML tools out there. I recommend the free tools Notepad++ or XMLPad.
What is your idea of XML testing?
How will you test an XML that has some tags which may have a lot of information in them?
How will you make sure what is there in your XML is correct or not?
What all would you like to validate in the XML?
Would you also like to validate your XML against a Schema?
Would you like to search for more and come up with some details to share with us?
I would like to ask a good automated testing program for program tests. Who could help me which is the good one?
The program what mine company created isn't in the internet.
Thanks for any help.
A nice technology that can be used in XML testing is XPath:
XPath to XML is like SQL to databases. You can use it to query XML files.
You should be aware that it can be a problem when working on very big XML files.
