This feature helps you to lock a defect from AutoCzar to bug tracking tools like Bugzilla.
To create defect:
a) Explore the Reporter window.
b) Choose Create Defect option in the Reporter ribbon tab.
c) Creating Defects window opens immediately. For example, we have considered all the defect details with respect to Bugzilla in the Creating Defects window. It contains
Server Name: Represents the name of bug tracking server.
Port Number: Represents the port number of bug tracking server.
Path: Represents the path of Bugzilla.
User ID: Represents the user-id of bug tracking server.
Password: Represents the password of bug tracking server.
Product Name: Represents the name of product.
Component Name: Represents the name of component.
&#61472; Priority: Represents the priority of defect.
Severity: Represents the severity of defect.
Version: Represents the version of product.
d) You can also find a Grid view displaying the summary of failed and not executed test steps in your test report. The Grid view contains
Select: Contains check box which must be checked to create the selected row as a defect. You cannot create a defect unless you check the check box.
Summary: Describes about the defect. The summary is updated automatically according to the defect.
Description: You must enter the suitable description related to the defect.
e) You must check the checkbox corresponding to the defect in Grid view, in order to lock the defect in bug tracking server.
f) Choose Start button. Once the selected defects are created in the bug tracking server you will get a confirmation window.
g) You can check the bugs in the bug tracking server with your user credentials.
h) Choose Close button to close the Creating Defects window.
