Re: Is there a way to point the TRACE log to a specific text file.?
Ack. This one, for me, required an annoying work-around. Even if you change the directory that it's saved to, it'll change the log to ACT_<servername>.log. When I run it automated, I had to write VBS that runs through the control panel's "scheduled tasks" (using "script.exe [script name]" as the event). Example target: C:\cscript.exe "c:\Night CBCWeb Test.vbs" The vbs not only calls on the ACT object and executes the test, but when it's finished, it grabs the file and renames it. I can send you my kludgey example if you like if you can drop me an e-mail address...but the act objects are shown in the act help doc, and I used the FSO to get to the file.
I prefer 'maliciously mischevious'.
