Q-1 - How much minimum time is advisable for getting an appropriate analysis in an application center test ?
Q-2 - Our site is running by using MS-SQL Server, commerce server and .net .
while running the application center test -
Does the application adds some records to sqlserver database tables and accordingly gives the output?
In case the answer is Yes how can we test it ?
In case the answer is no , then how the performance is calculated.
Lets assume my application is having one operation where it gets the data from the table for display.
Q1 - I think that question is too vague. It depends on your application. As a general rule, I tend to run load tests for at least an hour...if I can get away with longer runs, I will.
And it also depends on how your test is structured and what sort of factors you wish to include.
Q2 - I've replied to your "database records" question in your previous post. Also, there are prior posts that cover some of the measurements you might wish to use to evaluate response and performance.
